Spring Green Makeup

I told you guys you'd find a little bit of all the things that make me...me! And I just so happen to love makeup. I love the colors, the sparkle, the boldness, and the simplicity that can be found in it. Even though at one point I dove heavily into it because I had become so incredibly insecure, I now continue to do it because well, its just fun for me. I was at a very hard and sad place inside myself when I started to really dig into makeup. It was (at the time) the only thing that made me feel good about myself. If that's where you are right now, you are not alone. 

I encourage you to begin to push past those feelings of inadequacy, stop telling yourself you are ugly, stop telling yourself you are not enough. Sweet friend YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). God knit you together in your mother's womb (Psalm 139:13) and knew exactly what you would be like from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. Every. Single. Part of who you are, inside and out, he created in his image (Genesis 1:27, Ephesians 2:10). Lay down those awful lies you've believed about yourself and replace them with God's truth. Your self worth isn't dependent on what other people think about you, its not dependent on the colors and powders you put on your face. You are stronger than you think you are, so get up sister, dust yourself off and start to fight for the person God created you to be. Treating yourself kindly is just as important as the way you treat others.
